Hey, I am Kristiina Truuverk!
For the past 5+ years I have been working in several global start-up like tech companies, mainly in the business of adtech and fintech. Experiences from working in auditing have given me strong analytical thinking and attention to detail mentality, which I have been applying in all my positions. I have been running different departments, some at the same time, including finance & accounting, business & data analysis and compliance & risks.
In my work I have had the privilege to run projects like transferring entity’s accounting from Estonian GAAP to IFRS, setting up business & data analysis department and the needed resources, payment services product development, setting up overseas accounting functionalities and reporting, enterprise valuations, option pricing and several other project payoff evaluations.
I believe that Data-Driven Decision-Making would help entities to become more efficient and would give them basis for better decision making in regards to future scenarios. I got my MBA in Digital Society, and terms like SQL and Tableau are not alien. I enjoy working together with IT developers and product managers in building entity specific automated reporting and monitoring systems, and also finance related products.

I believe that being a good fit as a coach to a mentee, the two are required to have a spark/ right connection/ trust. In order for you to understand if I could be for you, I would like to introduce to you what triggers/motivates me in life.
I have made a relatively rapid rise in my career in a short period of time, starting as an assistant and becoming Chairman of the Board of a financial institution in 8 years. This path has not been easy for me either - I have felt insecure, stubborn and sometimes too demanding of my team. At the same time, I have always been driven by the desire to be better at what I do and to help others get better at what they do. Over the years, I have learned how important it is to pack feedback for the recipient.
As I have mainly worked in international companies alongside the French, Poles, Norwegians, Chinese and almost 20+ others, I believe that I have learned to navigate between different cultures quite well.
In my free time I spend a lot of time at sea practicing offshore sailing at a high level of sport. Being mostly 9 people on an area of about 13 m2 every week, I have learned how important it is to work in a team and take into account each other's peculiarities - because if there is a 24-hour regatta ahead, you have nowhere to escape. It is important that we all contribute to a common goal.
